What to Expect When You Open Your Package

Your bundles may have a light floral fragrance, thanks to our signature BARE CoWash and deep conditioning treatment performed prior to shipment. If you’ve purchased curly hair, it may need a little care to restore its full vibrancy after being in transit. To preserve the integrity of the curls, avoid running your fingers through the hair while it’s dry, as this can lead to tangling and frizz.

During your first CoWash, you may notice a few loose hairs due to the wefting process involved in bundle construction. This is completely normal and should subside after the initial washes. With proper care and a consistent haircare routine, daily shedding will be minimal. Please note the distinction between natural shedding and breakage caused by improper handling.

Pre-Installation

Before installation, always wash your extensions while keeping the zip-ties intact. This allows you to inspect the bundles thoroughly. If you notice any irregularities, please contact us immediately so we can assist you.

Installation Tips

Over and Out Method:

Follow the over and out method during installation to ensure secure placement and longevity of your extensions.
Avoid piercing the wefts, as this may compromise their durability and lead to excess shedding.

Weft Care:

Cut your wefts only when absolutely necessary.
For additional reinforcement, you can use a high-quality weft sealant, although this step is optional.

Maintenance

For optimal care, especially for curly hair, follow this regimen:

CoWash Routine:

CoWash your hair 3 times per week to maintain moisture and keep curls looking their best. This step is essential for proper hydration and definition.

Products You’ll Need:

Moisturizing Conditioner for hydration and detangling.

Curl Sealant or Curl Cream (optional, depending on your desired style).

Denman Brush for proper detangling and curl definition.

Hair Clips to section the hair during washing and styling.

Hair Scrunchie to secure hair without causing damage.
